Strengthening Marketing system of Organic products through farmers Co-operative in Chitwan (Jan. 2003 - Dec. 2012)

Main purpose of this project is to increase farm income of the farmers through introducing organic farming system and linkage with appropriate market and private sectors and establishing farmers' managed marketing systems in the form of co-operatives. This purpose will be fulfilled through improving quality and quantity of agricultural production and increasing decision making power of vegetables growers on pricing their products with the establishment of farmers managed marketing system in the form of co-operatives and facilitating the organic certification process for both national and international market.
